- Small saucepan or double boiler
- Cheesecloth or fine mesh strainer
- Amber glass dropper bottle
Ingredients
- MCT oil (C8 or C8/C10 blend)120ml (½ cup)
- cannabis, decarboxylated and finely ground3–5g
- sunflower lecithin (optional)1 tsp

Instructions

Ensure cannabis is fully decarboxylated.

Combine MCT oil and ground cannabis in a small saucepan or double boiler over very low heat.

Hold at 160°F for 1.5–2 hours, stirring frequently. MCT oil is thinner than butter — watch heat carefully.

Remove from heat and allow to cool for 10 minutes.

Strain through fine cheesecloth into a measuring cup, pressing firmly. Transfer to an amber glass dropper bottle.

Label with date and estimated potency.
Notes & Storage
- Sublingual use (held under the tongue for 60 seconds) has faster onset — 15–45 minutes — than swallowed edibles.
- Store in a cool, dark place for up to 3 months. Refrigerate to extend shelf life.
- MCT oil does not solidify, making it ideal for adding to beverages and smoothies.
